Celebrate Yule with these Book of Shadow pages. The pages include facts about the Sabbat, a list of ways to celebrate, and an incantation to recite during your Yule ritual. The incantation appears in a window so the texture of the spell page behind it shows through. The pages have been covered in pine needles and cinnamon because those herbs are associated with Yule. Three out of the four double sided pages have been filled with facts, pictures and herbs. The last page is blank so you can add your own art and words to your Yule ritual.
The paintings included on the pages are:
Five Children Fetch Home a Very Big Yule Log by Harriet M. Bennett
Round the Christmas Tree by Viggo Johansen
Snowcovered pine-trees in a winter landscape by Johannes Franciscus Hoppenbrouwers

The Winter Solstice (Yule) is a celebration of fire. It is the time when the goddess gives birth to the sun god who shall soon be her lover and father to her child in the next cycle. The turning point when the day begins to grow longer and winter begins its passage to the coming spring. The Yule log is burned to bring the warmth of the sun back to us. The log is usually made of oak or ash.
Mounted Pages
These double sided Parchment Paper pages have been mounted onto a three hole punched backing. They are ready to be added to your Adjustable Book of Shadows. I invented them because I wanted scrapbook pages free from plastic sheet protectors. The pages are all 8 ½ by 11 inches. The 3 holes have been punched into an extra ½ inch strip on the side of the page. They make a wonderful crisp sound as you turn the pages. The pages are made of brand new Ivory Parchment Paper but look aged. All mounted page come with frayed edges and are stained with coffee, paint and charcoal. Your Book of Shadows will look like an old family heirloom.
