Celebrate Lammas with these Book of Shadow pages. The pages include facts about the Sabbat, a list of ways to celebrate, and an incantation to recite during your Lammas ritual. The incantation appears in a window so the texture of the spell page behind it shows through. The pages have been covered in wheat sprigs, wheat grains, rose and basil leaves because those herbs are associated with Lammas. Three out of the four double sided pages have been filled with facts, pictures and herbs. The last page is blank so you can add your own art and words to your Lammas ritual.
The paintings included on the pages are:
Ophelia by John William Waterhouse
Bringing in the Harvest by Georges Laugee
At Harvest Time by Jules Bastien-Lepage
FACTS ABOUT LAMMAS
All facts and data was taken from books by Laurie Cabot, Silver Raven Wolf and Raven Gramassi

Gods: Lugh (Celtic god of light, skills and crafts).

Lammas is the First of 3 harvest celebrations. It occurs on August 1st, or 2nd, when the sun is 15 degrees in Leo. Lammas is also known as the celebration of bread. During ancient times, the reaping, threshing and preparation of breads ensured enough to eat during the winter months.
Mounted Pages
These double sided Parchment Paper pages have been mounted onto a three hole punched backing. They are ready to be added to your Adjustable Book of Shadows. I invented them because I wanted scrapbook pages free from plastic sheet protectors. The pages are all 8 ½ by 11 inches. The 3 holes have been punched into an extra ½ inch strip on the side of the page. They make a wonderful crisp sound as you turn the pages. The pages are made of brand new Ivory Parchment Paper but look aged. All mounted page come with frayed edges and are stained with coffee, paint and charcoal. Your Book of Shadows will look like an old family heirloom.
