ALL ITEMS IN OUR STORE ARE HANDMADE AND TAKE TIME TO PRODUCE. IT CAN TAKE UP TO 2 WEEKS FOR PAGES TO SHIP.
A new way to interact with Pagan Gods. A page for your Book of Shadows dedicated to a specific deity. Each page comes with an attached parchment envelope filled with a torn and charred piece of parchment paper. Write a letter to your god or goddess and place it inside the envelope. You can also add herbs, crystals, or any other magical tool as an offering to your god or goddess. Add your hair or fingernail clippings to the envelope to merge your energy with the deity.
To be true to the ancient culture, I did a lot of research on each deity and I added the most appropriate symbols to their pages.
Pan: God of nature, the woods, laughter, passion, music and personal ambitions. Half man, half goat. Son of the Greek god Hermes. He gave Artemis her hunting dogs and taught the secret of prophecy to Apollo. His music is said to be capable of arousing inspiration, sexuality, or panic, depending on what tune he plays. Pan is famous for his sexual powers. His symbols include goats, his pan pipes and horns.
The picture of Pan comes from Ancient Greek pottery art, c. 380 - 360 BCE.
A copy of an Ancient Greek coin dedicated to Pan has been added to the tip of the envelope like a wax and seal. This coin is from the city Pantikapion, from the 4th century BCE.
A prayer for each deity has been translated into Greek. In English the prayer reads:
I pray to you almighty Pan
God, who’s form, is beast & man
Come join me in this circle
To be honored & revered.
This double sided Parchment Paper page has been mounted onto a three
hole punched backing. It is ready to be added to your Adjustable Book of
Shadows. I invented them because I wanted scrapbook pages free from plastic
sheet protectors. The pages are all 8 ½ by 11 inches. The 3 holes have been
punched into an extra ½ inch strip on the side of the page. They look like
pages of a regular book in a tightly bound scrapbook because you can’t see the
bindings at all. They make a wonderful crisp sound as you turn the pages. The
pages are printed onto brand new Ivory Parchment Paper but look aged. All mounted page come with frayed edges and
are coffee stained. Your Book of Shadows will look like an old family heirloom.
